Salford Shopping City was extensively refurbished a few years ago and now gives shoppers everything that they expect of a modern shopping environment. All the shopping areas are totally enclosed, with high quality marble tiled aisles, spacious walking areas and light and airy walkways. We cater especially for shoppers with young children and provide mother and baby facilities. The shopping areas were re-designed with disabled people in mind so we have total wheelchair access throughout the site.

All this is backed up with access to local transport that is second to none, so why bother shopping anywhere else?

Salford Shopping City is simply laid out and it is not so big that you get lost trying to find places. In fact the whole of Salford Shopping City has been designed to be ‘shopper friendly’. Couple this with extremely cheap car parking (50p for 2 hours) and you can see why there is little point in going further afield - it's all on your doorstep.

Opening Hours

The Centre is open Monday to Saturday 09.00 to 17.30. However, Tesco are open from 08.00 to 18.00 Monday-Wednesday; 08.00 to 20.00 Thursdayand Friday; 08.00 to 19.00 Saturday and 10.00 to 16.00 Sunday.

Visit Our Famous Market

There is nothing more interesting than a visit to a traditional market, so why not combine your trip to the Shopping City with some traditional marketing. The Salford City market is one of the most popular open air markets in the North of England, with over 100 stalls offering a wide variety of specialist and general goods at real down to earth prices. The market is open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with a’flea’ market on Thursdays and car boot sale on a Sunday.
